The Corangamite Catchment Management Authority (CMA) is offering a leadership role within the Strategy and Planning Group based in Colac and/or Geelong. The Manager, Strategy provides a:

The position is permanent full time - 38 hours per week with a salary range: $96,528 to $109,490 per annum (negotiable based on experience) plus superannuation.

This rewarding position manages a small team which leads the development of regional strategies and plans within Corangamite CMA’s responsibility, and provides input into regional, state and national strategies and plans. Furthermore, the role will shape the monitoring and evaluation programs, develop evaluation capacity and supporting systems.

This role provides high level technical and strategic advice and as a member of the CMA’s Management Team helps shape the future of the organisation.

About You

You will possess excellent interpersonal and engagement capabilities, and strong personal leadership with the ability to contribute to building a positive, high performing organisation. A strategic and analytical thinker, you will have a flexible and adaptable approach, possess the ability to build strong relationships and partnerships, and to manage as well as work as part of a team. You will help to lead a high quality organisational culture and model the values of the Corangamite CMA and the Victorian Public Service.

This role requires experience working with diverse organisations and communities in natural resource management and a relevant tertiary qualification. Experience in developing strategy or plans within relevant sectors is highly desirable. Furthermore, experience in undertaking or designing program evaluations would be desirable.
