The Corangamite Catchment Management Authority (CCMA) is a Victorian Government statutory authority whose role it is to work with and support local communities to improve sustainable land, biodiversity and water resources management, in an area stretching from its head office in Colac to Geelong, Ballarat and Peterborough.

Senior Project Manager (Colac-based)

Full Time Fixed Term Contract to June 2023 – 38 hours per week

Salary range: $102,407 - $116,158 per annum (negotiable based on experience) plus superannuation

 

A rewarding opportunity for a Senior Project Manager is being offered to manage projects related to our election commitments. This position reports to the General Manager, Community & Catchment Services and will be accountable for the delivery of the business and performance objectives in respect of the Election Commitment projects of the organisation.

 

About You

You will possess excellent interpersonal, engagement, communication and customer service capabilities, with the ability to contribute to building a positive, high performing organisation. You will have a flexible and adaptable approach, possess the ability to build strong professional relationships and partnerships, and to work as part of a team. You will help to lead a high performing organisational culture and model the values of the Corangamite CMA and the Victorian Public Service. 

This role requires a high level of knowledge skills and experience in business, budget and project management. You will also have significant experience in natural resource management, environmental management, agriculture or similar relevant experience. Your ability for strategic and critical thinking, political acumen and initiative will hold you in good stead. A relevant tertiary qualification is required.
