Marketing and Customer Experience Advisor 

About the organisation:

Stadiums Queensland (SQ) manages the major sports facilities that are declared under Queensland Government regulation as being venues having the capacity to stage national or international sports events, recreational or entertainment experiences. SQ's portfolio of venues include The Gabba, 1300SMILES Stadium, Cbus Super Stadium, Sleeman Sports Complex, Suncorp Stadium, Metricon Stadium, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, the Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre and the Queensland Tennis Centre. 

About the role:

The Marketing and Customer Experience Advisor is responsible for the management, delivery and development of SQ customer experience framework, with a strong focus on enhancing fan engagement through the provision of information, activation and customer service at SQ venues. 

Skills and experience:

  • Proven digital and social media skills and demonstrated knowlegde of current marketing trends and best practice in a digital environment
  • Customer foccussed, possessing strong communication skills

Key tasks include:

  • Develop and execute a fan engagement strategy within the customer experience framework.
  • Enhance fan acquisition and retention through effective messaging using technology and other communication channels to target multiple audiences
  • Implement and review fan engagement initiatives and activations to create a positive entertaining experience for fans visiting venues.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to plan and implement activities at venues.
  • Develop plans and strategies to capture data of customers and stakeholders to grow the fan base.
  • Develop, research and implement marketing campaigns across a broad range of digital, social, print and other marketing channels.
  • Provide high level advice and leadership to the Digital Media and Marketing Officer and venue staff regarding digital communication.
  • Manage the development, enhancement and improvement of SQ websites in conjunction with SQ technical providers/digital partners.
  • Develop reports to review and measure current and future digital trends and potential applications to capture future opportunities to improve SQ revenue streams.
