Talent Acquisition Specialist 

The opportunity

We currently have a full time maximum-term opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join QIC’s HR team in Brisbane for a parental leave cover of 13 months. 

Specifically your focus will be on attracting great talent to QIC through your superior management of candidates and coordination of internal stakeholders through end to end recruitment campaigns.

You'll be working within a broader HR team that is highly collaborative whilst having full ownership of recruitment activities.  This role plays a critical role in delivering on elements of our TA strategy, having responsibility for driving our digital strategy and brand awareness in the external markets as well as ensuring our programs have diversity and inclusion at the center of all TA activities.  Engaging with universities is also a huge part of the future-focus of QIC to develop our talent for the future. 

The ideal candidate

As a strong candidate for this role, you will have a Business/Commerce or related Bachelors Degree (or equivalent experience) coupled with at least 2 years experience in Talent Acquisition/Recruitment functions.

You must also be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the financial services industry. Knowledge of institutional investment managers will also be highly regarded.

Working within a diverse, high performing environment, you will also be able to adapt your advice and guidance on sourcing and selection strategies to suit business requirements and your prior experience using applicant tracking systems will help you to hit the ground running.
