The opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Centre Manager to join QIC’s Global Real Estate team at Forest Lake Shopping Centre and Nerang Mall.

Forest Lake Shopping Centre is the shopping and social hub of Forest Lake. Enjoy the suburb’s beautiful lake whilst exploring a broad selection of restaurants, cafes and fast food outlets including Al Fresco dining.

Nerang Mall is a convenience based shopping Centre anchored by Woolworths and fresh food and café outlets. Nerang Mall provides a tenancy mix for all your daily needs.

Reporting to the Portfolio General Manager, the role of Centre Manager spans the delivery of key performance areas including financial targets, retailer management, marketing targets, internal process and governance and team management.

Whilst your main priority will be to manage the team and centre, you will be encouraged to bring fresh perspective to this centre and lead in a way that inspires energy, productivity and common purpose and helps our innovative centre vision come to life.

As the senior representative, you will also manage external stakeholder relationships including government and local interest groups, industry bodies and the media.

The ideal candidate

As a strong candidate for this role, you will have at least 3 years’ centre management experience running a sub-regional shopping centre.

Your excellent relationship management skills as well as demonstrated financial acumen and cost management skills will position you to succeed.

Ideally, you also have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the relevant Retail Leases legislation and other relevant legislation.
