RNSH is seeking a suitably qualified Clinical Nurse Consultant to Co-ordinate Bone Marrow Transplantation.

Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) and Community Health Serviceis a 634 bed principal tertiary referral centre. It is close to the CBD and transport facilities, accommodation, recreational and childcare facilities are available.

What you'll be doingThe main focus of this position is to coordinate the care of patients as they progress through their treatment – from searching for a donor, stem cell collection, in and outpatient transplantation, through to discharge and community care. The Clinical Nurse Consultant is an expert practitioner who facilitates sound evidence based clinical practice through research and leadership.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant is a role model to peer nursing groups within the field of bone marrow transplant services. He/she plays a vital role in health promotion and continuously reviews practice to ensure that excellence is achieved in patient care. The Clinical Nurse Consultant must fulfil the five domains of clinical nurse consultancy as outlined in the Functional/Operational/Clinical position requirements
