Alfred Health is the main provider of health services to people in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne and is also a major provider of specialist services to people across Victoria. The Health Service operates three outstanding facilities: The Alfred, Caulfield and Sandringham.

Applications are invited for the position of Director Hepatopancreato-biliary & General Surgery. Reporting to the Director of General Surgery, the Director Hepatopancreato-biliary & General Surgery will oversee excellent clinical care, whilst supporting Alfred Health's teaching, research and clinical governance programs. The successful applicant will provide excellent clinical expertise and service in Hepatopancreato-biliary and General Surgery, provide supervision to junior medical and other relevant staff within the Unit.

Applicants must be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Hepatopancreato-biliary and General Surgery is required as well as meeting Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in General Surgery.
