About State Trustees
We are the public trustee of Victoria with a strategic vision to support Victorians in protecting and growing their legacy and financial wellbeing. With a sense of community, we offer critical financial and legal products and services including Will Writing, Powers of Attorney, Executor Services, Trustee Services and Personal Financial Administration.

About the Role
Our consultants provide personal and tailored support to help more than 9500 Victorians who, due to disability, illness or injury and are unable to manage their financial and legal affairs and have been appointed to us to assist them by VCAT.

We are doing things a little differently with new and exciting changes to our service delivery model. We are opening registrations of interest in these roles for 2020 and we will have opportunities for Consultants across our multiple sites, streams of work and either part time, full time, fixed term or permanent arrangements.

You will use your exceptional multi-tasking and prioritisation skills to problem solve and make informed decisions for clients in accordance with their will & preferences.

Skills & Experience

  • Ability to deal with high volume administration
  • Strong professional communication skills
  • Experience and understanding in working with people with a disability/additional needs
  • Compassionate and empathetic
  • Ability to review information and make sound recommendations
  • Competent financial literacy

A business administration background in the trustee, financial, legal or disability and/or qualification in finance, nursing & social work will help you secure this role.
