About the role…

The successful individual will secure, nurture and retain corporate sponsorship partnerships to assist in meeting Taronga Foundation and organisational revenue and contra targets and therefore enable delivery of conservation programs and development.

Key accountabilities…

  • Manage a high performing team to achieve high quality sponsorship and partnership outcomes and generate revenues in excess of $5m per annum.

  • Develop, implement and monitor program plans including management of financial targets and budgets for corporate sponsorship income.

  • Identify and research potential corporate partners, negotiate long term, multiyear support agreements with options for renewals and overall achieve year-on-year growth in the number and value of partnership agreements.

  • Maximise the influence and ability of the Board, Governors and Patrons to effectively provide introductions for prospective corporate sponsors.

  • Develop and review cost effective and appropriate benefits schedule to reflect different sponsorship levels and which is aligned with the major gift recognition framework.

  • Oversee and manage the procurement process and tenders for the selection and appointment of corporate partners, ensuring the optimal financial, brand and sustainability outcomes.

  • Develop the strategy and implementation for upgrading existing corporate partners to higher levels of commitment, renewing current support and acquiring new sponsors.

  • Work closely with other Marketing and Communication Managers to ensure that all communications material developed are consistent in positioning, branding and key messages.

About you…

We are looking for candidates that have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a business discipline or equivalent experience in a similar role with a demonstrated understanding of sponsorships and corporate partnerships. Capabilities for the role.

  • Previous experience managing strategically important and financially significant partnerships or accounts.

  • Obtain and maintain a current volunteer NSW Working with Children Check at own expense.
