Senior Technical Officer - Veterinary Nurse

Salary/Level: Level 4, $80,452 - $84,797 p.a. plus 9.5% Superannuation
Tenure: 12 months Fixed-term, Full-time (with the possibility of extension or permanency)
Location: Perth Zoo (South Perth), Western Australia

Under minimal supervision, this position provides advanced nursing care, health monitoring and husbandry for a range of taxa within the Perth Zoo Veterinary Department.

The position also provides mentoring and training for junior staff and support to the Veterinary Nursing Supervisor in planning, coordination and delivery of projects.

The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current and satisfactory National Police Check and complete a satisfactory pre-employment medical and vaccination program prior to commencement.
