What you'll be doing
The job holder will play the principal and lead role in the management and delivery of psychological care services for infants, children, young people and families within the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN) Cardiac Service. This will include the development and implementation of clinical protocols for the provision of psychological assessment, care, treatment and support to infants, children and young people with heart disease, and their families; the development of internal and external networks for psychological care of cardiac patients in NSW and their families; development and provision of psycho-education for health professionals; collaboration within a high-performing multidisciplinary team of health professionals; and substantial contribution to a productive psychological research program relevant to clinical activities. The job holder will also be responsible for the majority of administrative duties required to sustain and maintain the clinical psychology service and research program.
