The role

As part of a high-performing team, you will perform complex analytics relating to compliance with state legislation and policy development, report on revenue issues and prepare comprehensive research reports.

As you plan and develop robust data-matching methodologies, you will also help to quantify risk and act as a trusted source of expert advice to senior management.

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will:

  • Plan, lead, conduct, monitor and report on complex projects and participate in investigation projects.
  • Undertake high level analysis and research relating to compliance and revenue issues, and prepare associated research papers and reports.
  • Conduct data matching and mining using data from internal and external sources.
  • Produce daily and monthly branch and divisional reports, and monitor and analyse revenue collection against forecasts.

 The ideal candidate

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in applying analytical methodologies and practices in an online environment, and using specialised analytical software.
  • Experience in data mining and data matching including creating complex data queries.
  • High level communication (interpersonal, verbal and written) and negotiation skills.
  • Project management skills, including delivering on-time, on-budget projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
