ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, the Finance Business Partner is responsible for developing strong partnerships with the senior management and the management of the designated portfolio to bring key financial and commercial insights to the decision making process on financial matters of the respective portfolio. Please refer to the Role Description and Position Conditions and General Info for further information.

There are two (2) permanent full time positions available. The roles will be based in Gladesville and will relocate to the new State Operations Centre in Sydney Olympic Park.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will require the following experience and attributes:

  • Relevant accounting tertiary qualifications, and CA/CPA qualifications (or working towards these qualifications).
  • Strong skills and experience in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis within a large and complex organisation.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong track record of achievement with a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated Business Partnering experience.
  • Ability to draw key insights from large data sets.
  • An understanding of rostering for 24/7 operations and employee entitlements.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong excel skills and knowledge of Power BI, Word, Power Point, Oracle, Smart View and the ability to learn new systems as required.
