ABOUT THE ROLE

Lead the implementation and development of rostering best practice policies and guidelines for NSW Ambulance. Support associated programs, projects and activities and provide advice to support industry leading rostering guidelines in line with NSW Ambulance’s strategic priorities and the 2022-2026 workforce strategy.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in policy reform and the implementation state-wide thereof. Capacity to participate in organisational change initiatives and capability to undertake redesign methodology and AIM training as required.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a complex environment dealing with and influencing senior management and stakeholders to meet policy needs in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating change, analysing problems, developing effective solutions and resolving conflicting priorities in a health or corporate context.
  • High level communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with proven ability to prepare high standard policy documentation and the ability to liaise with stakeholders, conduct workshops and deliver presentations, training and information to a broad audience.
  • Knowledge of or ability to quickly gain knowledge of NSW Ambulance operations and current rostering practices.
  • Excellent organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve goals, perform and always work with a customer focused approach.
  • Proven high level proficiency in various software programs including Microsoft Office suite applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project.
