About the Opportunity

This role provides leadership to our Housing Access and Demand team covering Western and Far West NSW. The role is essential to ensuring fair and equitable access to social housing pathways. It is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable or homeless individuals and families by applying excellent business process skills. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to community service, strong leadership and quality management skills. Some travel and field work is a requirement of this position. This role will provide expert advice to both internal and external clients as well as providing mentoring and training to other HNSW staff through the:

  • Monitoring of service standards
  • Development and implementation of flexible and innovative service and management
  • Compliance with legislation and policy requirements and to support performance reporting.
  • Assistance with complex service issues and policy interpretation.

This is a temporary full-time role for 12 months in accordance with the Government Sector Employment Act 2013.

A Recruitment Pool may be created to fill similar roles for both ongoing and temporary opportunities across the Western District, which could include opportunities in Dubbo, Orange, Bathurst, Parkes and Cowra.
