We're seeking a Team Leader Delivery - Developer Projects

The Team Leader Delivery - Developer Projects is responsible for:

  • Leading the Delivery team made up of two Project Officers and two Surveillance Officers.
  • Developing and implementing an annual audit plan to ensure the ongoing satisfactory quality of Developer-delivered assets.
  • Managing and coordinating the resources of the Development Services Delivery Team, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes, workflow administration and workload management, facilitating process improvement requirements and initiatives.
  • Managing and coordinating the design and construction audit plan, developer works construction inspection and audit process, reviewing audit outcomes and Accredited Supplier performance, resolving non-conformances, providing specialised technical support for reviews or audit of network designs, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
  • Being responsible for managing and resolving escalated complaints and issues associated with the Delivery Team.

This role is full time ongoing with the salary to be paid between $112,928 to $120,000 plus 9.5% superannuation commensurate with skills and experience.

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:

Essential

  • Qualifications in Civil or Environmental Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience along with WSAA Water & Sewer Designer Accreditation
  • Extensive construction inspection and contract management experience in water industry including familiarity with contractor safety management systems.
  • Demonstrated strong Leadership experience of technical teams, preferably in a frontline customer services environment
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication, problem solving and negotiation.
  • Demonstrated thorough understanding of the Developer Works certification system, documentation, process maps, accountability and responsibilities of parties, checklists and compliance certificates.
  • Demonstrated Interpretation and application of commercial requirements of Developer Works Deeds.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and experience in water and sewer design guidelines, standards, environmental and general engineering.
  • Demonstrated use and understanding of computerised management systems (TRIM, Ellipse, SAP etc)
  • Construction Induction Card and a current driver’s licence.

Desirable

  • Demonstrated experience in the design of water utility network infrastructure.
