Senior HR Business Partner

About the role

The Senior HR Business Partner provides their clients with a complete strategic and operational perspective as they develop, adapt and execute their strategic and operational plans. You will coach your HR Business Partner colleagues in order to achieve the wider business strategic agenda and drive continuous improvement with the clients groups and the People and Culture team.

  • Achieve a complex understanding of business needs against the organisational strategy including workforce planning and capability assessments
  • Coach, mentor and contribute to knowledge transfer within the team
  • Facilitate the development of strategic insight for action as we confront cultural, mindset and technical challenges
  • Manage & deliver organisational change, associated communications and develop and implement change plans, consultation processes, resourcing requirements and management of redeployment cases
  • Monitor the effectiveness of human resources services & initiatives provided & effecting improvements where necessary

About you

You are an experienced Human Resources professional who wants to make a difference. You are a team oriented person who enjoys leading and making an impact on your team and stakeholder.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of IR, OD, OHS & relevant legislation
  • Exceptional relationship and stakeholder management
  • Excellent customer focus and ability to influence and manage customer needs in order to deliver the right outcomes for WorkSafe Victoria
  • A high level of knowledge and expertise in the systems and regulations governing the function, and of the industry and discipline.
  • Ability to apply your knowledge of research, analysis and project management techniques, and should undertake continuous professional development to stay up-to-date.

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualifications in HR or a related discipline.
