Embark on a transformative journey with Powerlink as a Resilience Advisor on a 2-year fixed-term contract. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring Powerlink's readiness to tackle operational risks effectively through robust emergency management, business continuity, disaster recovery, protective security, and cyber security processes.

Within this role you will;

  • Support the establishment and enhancement of emergency management and business continuity systems , ensuring they support Powerlink's corporate and operational objectives
  • Assist in managing and implementing our emergency management and business continuity frameworks, as they adapt to evolving business operations and external factors
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective emergency management, and business continuity practices
  • Support initiatives aimed at enhancing resilience, ensuring alignment with Powerlink's enterprise strategy

Your expertise

Ideally, you will hold a degree level qualification or have previous experience within -emergency management. While prior experience in a similar role is not mandatory, a genuine passion for driving business change and a keen interest in emergency management are essential.

You will demonstrate the ability to;

  • Translate strategic goals into actionable plans, adeptly addressing risks to achieve group goals
  • Apply a risk-centric approach to develop pragmatic solutions that effectively mitigate business risks
  • Work effectively with stakeholders across all levels, building credibility and fostering cooperation
  • Facilitate workshops and training, including the coordination and management of external stakeholders and contractors.
  • Exhibit strong written and oral communication skills, crafting clear and concise plans and engaging stakeholders effectively
  • Flexibly manage priorities and incorporate new approaches to meet evolving business needs
  • Analyse and evaluate issues to develop fit-for-purpose recommendations
