What will you do?

These roles present a unique opportunity to join our Environment and Planning Team which spans a broad range of capability from EIA/approvals, urban planning, sustainability, biodiversity, heritage, water resources, contaminated land management, social impact and geospatial services.

Our team has secured some of the state’s largest projects in the energy market. In the water market including a 10-year contract to partner with Sydney Water and a 7-year contract with WaterNSW. In the transport market we have a long list of significant road, rail and aviation projects in our expanding portfolio.

We are actively seeking Environmental Planners, from Senior to Principal Level who have substantial experience undertaking environmental impact assessment in NSW. We seek experienced proven leaders and consultants that are ready to take the next step up in their career. Experience managing approvals for major infrastructure in the road, rail, energy or water markets will be most highly regarded.

We know the work we do is vital in leaving a positive legacy and it’s the technical expertise and depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Your ability to bring an understanding of the full project life cycle is highly valuable, here are some of the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’:

  • Leading professionals, mentoring, coaching and providing technical guidance
  • Leading and contributing to environmental assessment projects
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams and client teams
  • Engaging with project stakeholders
  • Building client relationships
  • Genuinely influence business strategy and execution whilst carving out your unique career path.

We know today’s complex challenges can only be solved through bringing together diverse teams of people from across our business, so there will be opportunities for you to apply your skills and creativity to projects in other geographies and markets.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for leaving a legacy and will be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will need a relevant academic qualification and significant breadth and depth of experience of delivering SSI and/or SSD approvals in NSW region.

Applications are welcome from those demonstrating applied knowledge of NSW planning instruments, strong communication and collaboration skills and a desire to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Our roles are ideally suited to engaged, ambitious, well connected professionals with a passion for innovation.

You will hold a current Australian drivers’ licence.
