Healesville Sanctuary is currently seeking an innovative Education Officer (Cultural) to join our Learning Experiences team. The role will support the growth, creation and integration of a range of Aboriginal cultural learning experiences within our current education programs. The role also involves delivering cultural visitor engagement experiences during school holidays.

Demonstrated teaching experience in an educational, environmental and/or cultural institution, secondary qualifications in humanities or science, VCE (biology, geography or psychology) and/or sustainability, values or conservation education experience will be highly regarded.

The successful candidate will require:

• Teaching qualifications and with experience
• Knowledge of Aboriginal cultural heritage
• A passion, pride and respect for Aboriginal culture
• Experience planning, developing and integrating Aboriginal cultural into school programs
