We are seeking an experienced professional to drive strategy through the successful delivery of process transformation, change management and technology initiatives enabling the organisation clear visibility and efficient use of the financial and required data to drive performance in cost savings and efficiencies. 

About the role 

A 12 month fixed term role, this position reports to the Director Workforce Planning and sits within our wider People and Culture Team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Championing strategic, end to end process initiatives within and across AV that support service delivery, organisational direction and modelling of accountabilities within People & Culture business plans and objectives.
  • Establishing AV criteria and initiate, scope and manage the delivery of projects for identified process improvements using recognised BPI methodology (e.g Six Sigma/Lean) to identify benefits realisation targets and ensuring they are achieved.
  • Monitor, develop metrics and report on business process performance against accepted standards and KPI's, being the subject matter expert for process improvement techniques.
  • Identify key business drivers and energetically pursue progressive opportunities and initiatives to improve processes in conjunction with process owners/managers.
  • Develop and support data capture and data management processes for core systems to support the delivery of identified projects monitoring significant project status.
  • Foster a partnership approach to working with the other teams across the organisation and the key business stakeholders, ensuring the appropriate change expertise is engaged during the project for compliance and results. 

About you 

We are looking for someone who is passionate who is an excellent communicator both interpersonal and written, prepared to commit, contribute and collaborate as part of the division to enable it to achieve its functions. 

To be considered for this position you will possess: 

  • Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline
  • Extensive demonstrated experience in a systems & process role in a large, complex organisation
  • Exceptional people leadership attributes and experience leading a small specialist team
  • Thorough understanding and working knowledge of Lean and 6 Sigma principles
  • Current Victorian Driver Licence
  • Willingness to travel throughout Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria as required
