Ambulance Victoria (AV) is now recruiting for a Manager, Property Service Planning & Reporting to join their Corporate Services division. This is a full time, fixed term position based at AV's Blackburn North headquarters.
This role is responsible for managing strategic planning for AV's Property Services and delivering AV's three-year forecast and annual property program in collaboration with a number of stakeholders; as well as taking responsibility for improving quality processes and increasing value to the customers and the organisation. The position also monitors the delivery of the property program, providing a link between the property department and maintenance programs to support quality program outcomes.
About the role
Reporting to the Manager, Property Services, the main duties of the role include (but are not limited to):
Provision of leadership / management / coordination as required in preparation and submission of regular and ad hoc Executive and Board reports;
Lead continuous improvement in Property Service (PS) service planning and reporting platforms, systems and processes;
Manage / coordinate preparation of PS budgets and financial year tasks, such as annual budget preparation (2017/18 $60 million) and mid-year review;
Lead, coordinate and/or undertake special projects as required depending on organisational and departmental priorities;
Liaise with other departments as required for purposes of developing or improving systems and processes;
Provision of leadership to PS administration support team; and
Provide oversight of PS corporate and other organisational planning items as required.
The successful applicant will have tertiary qualifications within a business, project management or property related discipline. It is essential that applicantspossess demonstrated experience in managing property-related projects andprocesses. A motivated self-starter, the successful applicant will have a strong understanding of business management and improvement strategies, complex budget and portfolio management with end-to-end program management a bonus. Strong communication and relationship skills combined with strategic thinking and analytical skills are paramount to success in this role. This position will require travel through metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria; therefore a current Victorian driver's licence is essential.
Experience working within a complex and dynamic organisation is considered essential.
