HR Systems Administrator

  • $79,955 per annum (pro rata) + 9.5% superannuation (6 month fixed term)

Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) is the control agency during emergency response to flood, severe storm, earthquake and tsunami in Victoria.

Enhance our ability to induct, engage and retain our staff by managing the induction process, the members' recognition programs, conducting surveys and reviewing business processes to support improvements.

Enhance the HR business unit's ability to develop and then report on key performance indicators for the business plan including workforce analytics. Deliver and facilitate training in the relevant HR systems to meet the needs of VICSES managers and employees and update the intranet.

Identify and analyse any gaps in current business process/ system data and propose possible solutions to drive effectiveness and efficiency improvements, by working with the systems administrators, business owners, project managers and vendors as needed for potential system enhancements and documenting any new business system processes and making changes to existing ones.

Ensure the HR business unit provides excellent customer service by working with the team to support the day-to-day business processes and ensuring financials are processed in SAP and Smartcard in a timely manner.

Support the retention of our volunteers by ensuring they are recognised appropriately through the Awards program, identifying new initiatives, ensuring professionalism and timeliness of the applications and acting as Secretariat for the Awards Committee.
