About the role:
The Strategic Communications team is approaching a new era of digital communications and services with plans to transform its services to include a new model of digital delivery which will involve new and innovative services in supporting the New Digital VLA strategy.

The team are seeking a people manager specialising in online communications for the role of Manager, Digital Communications and Engagement. In this role, you will lead and manage a specialist team to drive VLA's digital communication functions and manage existing assets. This will include the development, implementation and evaluation of online assets aligned with VLA's strategic priorities and ensure the delivery of high quality online content aligned with standards and organisational needs. You will identify new digital solutions to keep VLA on the frontline of online communications and promote collaborative work practices across the team to ensure seamless servicing and support effective engagement and communication.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced people manager in online communications looking to take on a new challenge. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team and be part of an organisation dedicated to assisting vulnerable groups in the community.

About you:
You are an experienced people manager in online communications function with experience managing digital communications and social media strategies, and the development of websites that comply with Australian standards and relevant legislation.

Critical to your success in this role will be your stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and promote collaborative working relationships. You will also have the ability to lead change management process and continuous improvement programs in diverse work environments.

You will be proactive with a can-do attitude and willingness to promote VLA's vision and values.
