Central Highlands Water (CHW) is a leading regional water corporation based in Ballarat, delivering essential water and waste water services to more than 150,000 people across 15 supply systems. This is an executive level role, requiring both strategic and operational leadership which will provide an increased focus on environmental services and the delivery of high quality customer service.

Reporting to the General Manager Infrastructure Planning & Operations you will lead a team of highly capable professionals across environment (biodiversity, native vegetation, land management, cultural heritage, waterway, aquifer and river health), reconciliation action planning, waste water treatment, recycling scheme planning and climate change. You will have the opportunity to shape and influence our service delivery approach and strategies to ensure successful delivery of our objectives. You will build strong working relationships with key external stakeholders and strive for customer service excellence with internal divisions including Board and Executive Management.     

A proven leader of specialist professionals, you bring relevant tertiary qualifications and an understanding and interest in the environment having previously worked in a relevant field such as sustainability, climate change and adaptation renewable energy or land management to name a few. You will be passionate about the critical work these roles deliver and your leadership and professionalism will be the foundation of helping the organisation achieve ongoing success in a 'safety first' culture that supports our aspiration of zero harm.
