Principal ICT Solutions Architect

We are looking for a high performing Principal ICT Solutions Architect to join our Information and Communication Technology (ICT) team based in our Brisbane CBD office.

Reporting to the Manager ICT Solutions, you will be responsible for designing both enterprise wide and bespoke solutions as well as providing technical direction and assurance, across multiple solutions encompassing a wide array of technology projects. As the Principal ICT Solutions Architect, you will be working within the standards, principles and processes that govern ICT and supporting the business to achieve strategic goals through solutions you design.

This role requires a good understanding of technical architectures and roadmaps, as well as a solid understanding of business, technology, application, data and information architectures.

What we are looking for:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in solution architecture, including providing IT consulting advice and capturing technical requirements associated with the development of diverse, business critical IT applications in a large and complex organisation.
  • High level of conceptual and analytical skills, in relation to IT solution design, development and technical environment issues when architecting and being involved in the implementation of diverse, business critical IT applications.
  • High level of skills in the end to end design and delivery of business solutions with a specific focus on application components in a distributed environment to meet business requirements consistent with best practice solution delivery framework and architecture standards.
  • Good communications skills both written and verbal coupled with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to develop effective business relationships.

Experience working in an outsourced/managed service provider environment would be highly advantageous.

Certification in TOGAF highly desirable.

Starting salary: $116, 425 + superannuation
