About the role

As the ICT Operational Readiness & Change Lead, you will be accountable for supporting successful delivery of ICT projects by leading the development of operational readiness assessments and plans as well as associated change management and transition activities.  You will provide expert advice to Program Managers and other senior ICT and business stakeholders to ensure that the change process and the impact to the business has been considered.

You will use your stakeholder engagement skills, methods, tools and experience in developing and implementing organisational change and transition strategies, to ensure successful outcomes for ICT projects.  You can anticipate some of your daily duties to include:

  • Provide expert operational readiness and change management advice and solutions to ICT throughout project and business as usual activities lifecycle
  • Provide support and guidance to ICT in the development and implementation of assessments and change management requirements, plans, strategies
  • Build the operational readiness and change management capability through coaching & training
  • Facilitate workshops, involving a diverse range of ICT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and agreed outcomes
  • Monitor and report on the success of business readiness and change activities, escalate unresolved issues and ensure that lessons are carried into future projects

About you

  • Extensive experience of best practice operational readiness and change management strategies, processes and techniques within an ICT environment in a large and diverse organisation
  • High level of influencing, interpersonal, consultation, problem solving, relationship building and negotiation skills
  • High level of communication skills, both written and verbal tailored to different target audiences
  • High level of familiarity and knowledge of project management ideally in the delivery of ICT projects
