Manager Product and Tourism Partnerships, Queensland Rail Travel

Our Travel and Tourism business has a permanent opportunity to join the Queensland Rail Travel team as the Manager Product and Tourism Partnerships to establish and drive delivery of product, brand and customer experience strategies and programs, oversee the development of customer focussed training, quality systems and  governance frameworks, and create and foster strategic industry and community partnerships. 
 
It is an exciting time to join the Travel and Tourism Team,  as we commence a journey of  modernisation  to better align with our customer and community expectations and achieve our vision of a modern, world-class rail service. 
 
Your initial focus will be on establishing the new Product and Tourism Partnerships Team; and working with the Queensland Rail Travel leadership team  to grow the Travel and Tourism business in line with our vision for the future.  
 
Strong leadership experience will be key to lead and develop the team of 11 experienced professionals on a new direction and to foster a continuous improvement culture. 
 
Your well-developed influencing, interpersonal, consultation, relationship building and negotiation skills are essential to ensure your success in building and sustaining productive relationships and partnerships. 
 
To be considered for this opportunity you will have strong experience in: 
 
Development of product strategies and associated sales and brand strategies and plans within a customer oriented environment 
 
High level stakeholder management 
 
Leading and managing a diverse and multidisciplinary team 
 
Preparation of innovative, consistent and customer centric training programs 

Development of corporate governance systems that ensure high quality customer and business outcomes. 
 
Commercial capability and analytics  
 
Experience in the travel and transport industries is preferable but not essential.
