Manager Salinity and Irrigation - [Archived Advertisement]

The Mallee Catchment Management Authority is seeking a motivated individual with demonstrated management skills to lead a number of projects aimed at better managing salinity in an irrigated and semi-arid landscape.

The position of Manager Salinity and Irrigation will be responsible for delivering against the strategic objectives of the Salinity and Irrigation Unit of the Mallee Catchment Management Authority (CMA). 

The role will have a particular focus on regional irrigation and groundwater processes; water use policy and marketing mechanisms; and the salinity management framework employed in the Mallee.

Tertiary qualifications in Agricultural Science or Natural Resource Management (NRM); and five years demonstrated experience in all aspects of project management in NRM or other related discipline are required to undertake this position.  

This position is available on a fixed term 24 month basis (extension subject to funding). The position is classified as a Senior Executive Officer, salary range is $100,000.00 to $110,000.00, plus 9.5% superannuation.
