About Us:

The Office of the Registrar-General (ORG) is responsible for administering land services and guarfanteeing the sytem of land titling in South Australia. The Registrar-General performs this role by undertaking legal, policy and regulatory functions relating to the Real Property Act 1886 and other relevant legislation withint he responsibility of the ORG.

The Registrar-General also oversees the operational aspects of the land titling functions provided by Land Services SA to ensure the integrity of the land register is maintained.

The Role:

ORG is currently seeking to appoint an experienced policy professional with expertise in writing briefings, policy, submissions and stakeholder communications along with experience in managing projects.

Working in a fast-paced and vibrant environment, among supportive and engaged colleagues, you will be responsible for assisting the Registrar-General in managing Government and stakeholder relationships.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a policy role which contributes to the development, implementation and review of policy and legislation that affects land transactions and conveyancing requirements.

About You:

To be successful you will have advanced written communication skills, including experience in drafting briefings, reports,  presentations and correspondence.

Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and to thrive working in a fast paced, collaborative and supportive environment by utilising your strong verbal communication skills to negotiate and liaise with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Successful applicants will be required to obtain a satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check prior to employment.
