An opportunity has become available for an experienced and capable End-User Solutions Architect to join a dynamic and highly motivated IT team at our NSW Police Headquarters in Parramatta. About the roleThe End User Solution Architect is responsible for the development of the technology solutions and mapping the business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure they are in line with the enterprise architectural plan.
This dynamic and hands on position will provide the right incumbent with an ability to contribute and be supported by a well-established team of ICT professionals. The End User Compute Solutions Architect will be part of the Technology, Infrastructure and Network team to assist and develop relevant solutions and artefacts required for the End User Services program, including requirements definition, solution options, solution patterns, high level and detailed solution designs ensuring highly available systems are compliant with organisational and whole-of-government policies across various applications and technologies.
Reporting to the End User Technology Manager, the position works closely with other business units and Program / Project Teams with an emphasis on the development of End User technology solution architecture deliverables. As part of your role, you will drive all stages of solution architecture, including identification and evaluation of relevant solutions, that support the organisation’s required capabilities and also highlighting any benefits or risks throughout the lifecycle of the program, always delivering with “secure by design” whilst complying with standards.
