- the management of a high volume of development applications and strategic planning proposals from a diverse range of local and state government authorities;
- building and developing relationships across government and the development industry to facilitate solutions that provide sound and productive outcome for the community;
- educating stakeholders on development standards and bush fire mitigation & protection requirements so that they may better protect themselves and their properties;
- supporting operational activities during the bush fire season through post-event building impact assessment.
Successful applicants will be provided with on the job training.
The positions will initially be in our Glendenning office in Western Sydney, with relocation to the new NSW RFS Headquarters in Sydney Olympic Park in 2018. Currently under construction, this state of the art facility will be a stone’s throw away from world-class sporting and entertainment facilities and Sydney Olympic Park and Concord West train stations.
