You will contribute to the delivery of high quality inpatient and outpatient medical services in the area of oncology within the Limestone Coast Local Health Network (LCLHN). Providing effective teaching programs across relevant LCLHN country sites. You will ensure good continuity of care, participate in clinical trial projects and clinical trials, including liaison with collaborating teams. As part of your role, you will also contribute to continuous quality improvement programs and activities, and attend Oncology Multidisciplinary team meetings. Holding a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, you will have appropriate specialist qualifications and be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration. You will also have Fellowship of the RACP with advanced training in Medical Oncology or Radiation Oncology. Demonstrating the professional expertise to practice as a competent, caring consultant, you will possess a high level of clinical skills in oncology. Prior experience in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels will be ideal.
