Stepping into a key leadership position, you will work strategically and collaboratively to engage with consumers and the community affiliated with the Women’s & Children’s Health Network. The core focus of your role is the development, implementation and maintenance of the WCHN Consumer and Community Engagement Strategy. You will provide strategic advice, consultation and direction to Divisions of the Women’s and Children’s Health Network regarding Public Participation, as well as contribute to staff and consumer representative capacity to engage with and support public participation. In addition, you will facilitate the strategic management of the Community and Consumer Engagement Unit. Integral to your appointment to this role is demonstrated experience and ability of working successfully in a multidisciplinary environment including facilitating the achievement of collaborative outcomes, developing and implementing training programs for multidisciplinary staff and liaising and consulting with a range of external agencies. You must have proven experience in the implementation of consumer focused programs including experience in the design, implementation and review of complex projects. Significant experience in the development and implementation of a broad range of consumer participation and community engagement methodologies and strategies will also be required.
