Clinical Lead, Borderline Personality Disorders Centre of Excellence

- Indicative Total Remuneration: $313,449 - $580,544 pa (pro rata) - Temp P/T (26.25 hrs p/wk, up to 30/6/2022) - MD2
You will be accountable to the Clinical Director Mental Health for the provision of strategic clinical leadership, direction and supervision, taking a key role in service development, quality improvement and management of the Borderline Personality Disorder Centre of Excellence. As a member of the Country Health SA Local Health Network (CHSALHN) Mental Health Executive, you will provide professional direction and strategic leadership to support the State wide Borderline Personality Disorder Centre of Excellence and Mental Health staff across all Local Health Networks to deliver innovative, research-led clinical services, including training and development. You will contribute to and encourage improvements in quality management, and be responsible for ensuring the provision of high standard, cost effective, clinical services to patients through partnerships with mental health clinicians, General Practitioners and other services providers within the mental health service networks as appropriate. You will also be responsible for representing CHSALHN at relevant state-wide forums.
You will have a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, along with appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration. In addition, you will have demonstrated clinical excellence in psychiatric medicine, with advanced skills in the care of consumers with BPD. You will demonstrate the ability to be flexible, adaptable and innovative in a changing work environment. With prior experience in providing high level leadership in service development, you will utilise your level of interpersonal skills to engender the trust, cooperation and confidence of others.
