The Victorian Government has announced an expansion of its eServices panel in a bid to develop more opportunities for local ICT companies and foster competition in the provision of ICT services to the government.

The companies listed on the eServices panel are eligible to bid for contracts to provide ICT services Victorian Government departments and agencies.

The extension of the program will see an additional 180 service supplies across 17 categories added to the panel, taking its total number to 368.

The initial term of the appointment is until 30 June 2014, with a possibility of two one year extensions.

The reform will also see and industry-government working party advise the government on potential improvements for future eServices Panels.
