The Victorian Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional and Rural Development Peter Ryan has announced the appointment of Lachlan Bruce as the new Chief Executive of Regional Development Victoria (RDV).

 

Mr Bruce is currently the Deputy Chief Executive of the Department of Trade and Economic Development in South Australia and has worked previously for RDV and the then Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development (Victoria).

 

Mr Ryan said that Mr Bruce will lead RDV as it implements the Government's $1 billion Regional Growth Fund.

 

Xavier Csar has been acting Chief Executive with Regional Development Victoria, and will continue until Mr Bruce takes up the role in October.
