The package includes base salary starting at $152,978 - $162,943, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

Primary Purpose of the Role 

The Executive Officer operates at a senior level across the Project Delivery & Onboarding Division to manage strategic and operational co-ordination of the executive leadership function, including responding to a range of issues of varied complexity and urgency, and providing strategic advice and support to ensure the Executive Director is well prepared and briefed.

Key  Responsibilities:

  • Undertake high-level analysis, integration and synthesis of information from a range of internal and external sources to provide the executive leadership team with strategic, timely advice and professional support on complex and sensitive matters, and make recommendations on opportunities and risk exposure.
  • Work in partnership with the executive leadership team, Directors and senior managers across the Division and the wider Service NSW to facilitate the timely provision of advice and the submission of documents for the Executive Director’s consideration and action.
  • Contribute to and participate in the development and implementation of business strategy, and prioritise organisational requirements relating to key initiatives

Essential Requirements:
  • MUST be an Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen to apply for permanent roles within Service NSW.
  • Extensive experience working at a senior level providing high level executive support and related services to senior executive staff, boards, committees or similar forums.
  • Outstanding ability to prioritise requests, successfully manage heavy workloads and exercise sound judgment in a politically sensitive environment which is characterised by tight timelines and high volume.
  • High level conceptual, analytical and research skills, and the ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately to create an evidence base, blended with sound business acumen, and the ability to think commercially and create and analyse evidence based data.
