Unit Overview

The purpose of the People and Culture unit is to provide strategic support, advice, assistance and data/information to the CEO and Executive Directors, Managers, employees and stakeholders to facilitate EPA’s transformation to an effective organisation which has the right culture, right leadership, right employees with the right skills and information, at the right time, and which is a great place at which to work.

About the role

The HR Business partner role works closely with business units to identify and translate business goals into prioritised HR requirements.

The role works in partnership with Directorate leaders and HR team colleagues to secure alignment between HR and the business strategy by identifying and resolving strategic and operational people issues.

The HR Business partner acts as a first point of contact for employees and leaders and is responsible for the provision of HR Generalist and Employee/Industrial Relations services and injury management advice.

Based in Carlton, the role will be required to travel across all EPA sites including regional Victoria.
